Patola Fritters

INGREDIENTS

2 large patola, peeled and cut into strips
1 large onion, sliced into strips
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Vinegar-Soy Sauce Dip – Combine:
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup MAGGI SOY SAUCE
1 medium onion, chopped
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp MAGGI MAGIC SARAP

PROCEDURE

  1. In a bowl combine sliced patola, onion, MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, flour and egg. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Heat cooking oil. Using a small saucer as mould, scoop mixture into the saucer and slide fritters into the hot oil carefully. Fry until golden brown. Set aside.
