Meatless Dumpling

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
¼ cup finely chopped potato
¼ cup finely chopped carrot
½ cup garbanzos, mashed
½ cup chopped cabbage
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
2 tsp curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste
20-25 wonton wrapper or lupia wrapper cut into 2 squares
1 egg, beaten
Vegetable oil for frying
Sweet-chili sauce
PROCEDURE
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
- Stir-in potato and carrots. Cook for 1 minute. Add garbanzos and cabbage.
- Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, curry powder, salt and pepper. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Scoop around 2-3 tsp of the vegetables into the molo or lumpia wrapper. Seal edges using the beaten egg as sealer.
- Heat vegetable oil for frying. Pan-fry dumplings until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with sweet-chili sauce on the side.
