Coffee Braised Beef Brisket

INGREDIENTS
2 pieces red bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, quartered
1 tbsp crushed garlic
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 ½ kg beef brisket
2 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup NESCAFÉ Classic dissolved in 3 cups water
PROCEDURE
- Puree or chop finely the bell pepper, onion and garlic. When minced, add maple syrup and lime juice to make a paste. Set aside.
- Transfer beef in a pressure cooker. Sprinkle with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, salt and pepper. Pour in water with NESCAFÉ Classic.
- Add the bell pepper paste. Cover pressure cooker and cook beef for 30 minutes. Start timing when the pressure cooker starts to whistle.
- Let the pressure cooker cool down. Remove cover and add more seasoning if necessary. Cook uncovered for another 15 minutes or until sauce is reduced. Serve hot.
