Classic Burger Steak

INGREDIENTS
1 onion, minced
1 tbsp minced garlic
¼ kg ground beef
¼ kg ground pork
¼ cup grated carrots
¼ cup grated singkamas
6 slices white bread, shredded, soaked in
1 pack NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream 250ml
1 egg beaten
1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
¼ cup all-purpose flour
cooking oil for frying
Gravy:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup NESTLÉ FRESH Milk
¼ cup NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
pinch of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
salt and pepper to taste
PROCEDURE
- In a big bowl combine ingredients for burger patty. Mix well to fully incorporate. Set aside in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil. Scoop around ½ cup of meat mixture and form into a patty. Pan fry in the hot oil for 3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved. Transfer on plates lined with paper towel to drain excess oil. Set aside.
- Prepare gravy by combining butter and flour on a heavy bottom pan. Thin by pouring in NESTLÉ FRESH Milk and NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve prepared burger patties on top of steamed rice. Drizzle with gravy before serving.
