Chicken Pita Pockets

INGREDIENTS

¼ cup atchuete oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 small red onion, sliced
1 piece chicken breast, boiled and chunky shredded
1 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
Salt and pepper to taste
1 piece ripe mango, sliced
1 whole cucumber, seeded and sliced
6-8 pieces pita with pockets, heated

For Creamy Garlic Dip: Combine -
½ cup NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
1 tbsp vinegar or calamansi juice
pinch of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
2 tbsp minced garlic
Salt to taste

PROCEDURE

  1. Heat atchuete oil. Sauté garlic and onion until limp and fragrant. Stir in shredded chicken breast. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. To assemble, arrange prepared chicken on a re-heated pita pocket. Add sliced mango and cucumber. Drizzle with prepared creamy garlic dip. Serve immediately.
