4 Wellnessized dishes your child will have fun preparing with you

When you think of family bonding moments, the first thing that come to mind might be doing something fun outdoors or going away for a vacation. Did you know that there are so many things you can do right in the comforts of your own home? This weekend, we encourage you to introduce your child to a corner in your home that they may not be too familiar with—the kitchen!

We’re giving you four easy Wellnessized recipe ideas that your children can help you make. Pro tip is to assign them to simple and safe tasks.


How to prepare it:

  1. Sift 1 ½ cups of BEAR BRAND Powdered Milk Drink into ½ cup of condensed milk.
  2. Add in ¼ cup of melted butter. Mix and blend well.
  3. Choose desired flavoring and add into the mixture.
    Flavoring can be ½ cup grated cheese for cheese flavored pastillas or ½ cup chopped langka for langka flavored pastillas or ½ cup MILO for chocolate flavored pastillas
  4. Knead and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes to rest before shaping into small balls or small cylinders.
  5. Roll in white sugar and wrap in cellophane paper. Arrange in decorative or colorful boxes for gift giving or selling.


How to prepare it:

  1. To prepare pandan water, boil 3 pieces of pandan leaves (tied in a knot) in water for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and leave pandan to steep in the water while allowing the mixture to cool. Set aside.
  2. When water is cold enough to handle, remove pandan leaves and discard. Transfer water to a bowl. Mix the rest of the ice candy ingredients:

    2 cups of ripe mango meat, chopped
    2 cups buko meat, chopped
    2 cups buko juice
    1 cup mango juice
    1 cup BEAR BRAND Powdered Milk Drink
    ½ cup sugar or pandan water
  1. Taste to adjust sweetness as needed. Transfer on individual ice candy plastic containers. Freeze for 4 hours or until ice candy is frozen.


How to prepare it:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender jar.

    1 cup frozen whole strawberry 
    1 125g NESTLE Fruit Selection Yogurt,Yummy Strawberry
    1 cup NESTLE Low-Fat Milk
    2 cups shaved ice
    Process until fully combined.
  1. Transfer in individual serving glasses. Serve immediately.


How to prepare it

  1. Mix 1 cup crushed Graham crackers, ¼ cup brown sugar, and ¼ cup butter together until clumpy.
  2. Arrange as base in small pie molds. Top with favorite variant of three 125g NESTLÉ Yogurt. Garnish with choice of fresh fruit slices. Keep chilled.

Remember, your finished product may not look like the ones in the recipe photos and that is alright as long as you had fun creating them with your loved ones!
